For official answers about Gillespie County warrant records, contact the office that holds the case. This private reference site cannot access or update government warrant files. The Sheriff’s Office can route a local status question, while an issuing clerk handles the court record. Use a written request when the goal is to obtain an existing releasable document. Call ahead. A separate tip route does not establish court status. If an office gives a different contact, follow its instructions and ask how to confirm the answer.

This Is Not a Government or Law-Enforcement Office. Gillespie County Warrant Records cannot confirm a warrant, recall an order, accept bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. Contact the Sheriff’s Office or issuing court for those actions.

For a county record, the GCSO Public Information Act request must be in writing. The county says it may take up to 10 business days to respond, clarify, or seek an Attorney General ruling, and open investigations are not released. Use the official GCSO request form for an existing record, not an immediate warrant confirmation.

For a city or Fredericksburg Police record, requests use the city’s JustFOIA process. For anonymous information about a crime, the county lists Crime Stoppers at 830-997-8477 / 830-997-TIPS. Those contacts serve different purposes; neither replaces the court’s answer about status.
